In the past, our firm has represented a number of individual employees and private firms in employment and discrimination cases. Our present practice is about 95% federal employee representation, directly or as a consultant to other attorneys. Our firm has represented employees across the nation as well as those stationed abroad.
At Smith Himmelmann, we are committed to putting an end to all forms of discrimination in the workplace, including sexual discrimination and harassment. Our legal team provides strong advocacy and legal counsel to federal employees with claims before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), as well as in Federal Court.
In some instances, representation services have included, but have not been limited to: requests for reasonable accommodation, whistleblower claims, disability retirement applications, Office of Worker's Compensation Program (OWCP) applications, security clearance issues, and negotiating resolutions of employment related litigation.
